the night-watcher
today as I cuddled into bed
under the window,
I felt like someone was
watching me intently.
I got up and peered out of the window
and saw a big round silver moon
peaping through the gaps in the trees
to look at me sleeping
I waved out to the moon and
climbed back into my bedsheets
the moon stayed up all night
shining onto my beautiful moon face
at 5am today when I woke up, I looked up for the moon
and it was gone,
perhaps, it has gone to shine on another beautiful face!

I only came by here a few times in the past. I'm very sorry for her family and friends to have lost this beautiful young woman. Her reasons for creating the 'Appreciate Yourself' blog are so noble. I think I am going to take up that practice. Sometimes I think that my choices to act in a positive way won't affect anyone. Now I can see that one never knows who they may help. Thank you Anu for your courage, truth and conviction. A tiny bit of your light has passed on to me. I'll do what I can. Peace to all.

I only knew Anu from her blog and the comments we shared back and forth with one another. Through this limited connection, this sweet young lady truly touched my heart. She had an amazing love for life that shined throughout her every word. Anu inspired me, because she was not afraid to show others who she really was inside. Who was she? Anu was an angel. I only wish I had the chance to speak with her more than I did.
May you forever be happy and at peace.

Im here from Vikas' blog. I heard that Anu died from a car accident?? Im so sorry. I never knew her b4 this but her story touched my heart. May her soul rest in peace!

I just recently learned of Anu's passing, and my heart is heavy . I will miss her very much, she was like warm sunshine and the sent of flowers apon the air. May we be blessed by her compassion and love for life always. Until our paths meet once again Anu. Gassho

Wow, I have no idea who she was but reading her work is touching. My heart goes out to her family, how sad. She was so young and beautiful
I wonder how long her writing will remain up for everyone to read.. months, years, decades? I hope people can come here and see what a wonderful person she was for a very long time. She deserves to be read.
