sleep

feeling unbearably sleepy today
as if i have been drugged
fell asleep drinking my
morning tea

how i wish i could take a holiday
from work and sleep whole day

but i know i have things to do
and milestones to cross

so i get on with my day
like the birds, bees and the grass

it is time to wake up
from the long lost slumbers

Ya know, your alarm goes off (if you use such a thing) and you hit the snooze button to let you sleep ten more minutes.

That works even better, than you don't have to deal with that pesky noise and the ugly consequences...
